Alexandria-Pineville history. I need some help on this one.

If you have not figured it out by now. I am a ruthless hunter of Central Louisiana history. I probably know as much or more than anyone in this area about our history. I am always looking for anything that deals with Central Louisiana’s past…I have been made fun of more thane once about my passion…A lot of folks who read this blog know my  true idenity….I wish to remain Alex Cenla..

About four or five years ago I came upon a color postcard of this home. The detail was vague. I narrowed down the location to probably Pineville. (Somewhere in that area.)

A few days ago I was given a collection of postcards and photographs  from an old family in this area. In that collection that spanned 1915 to about 1940 was a black and white photograph card of this elusive home.  So now I know that two postcards were printed of it. The B&W card has fine detail. It was a log home. Very large for the time it was built. Someone , probably well known in the community, may have owned it…  The two questions that I can not find the answers to are:

What was the location?

Who owned it?

Anyone out there have an answer?

If you have input email me at alexcenla@gmail.com rather than go into detail with a comment.
