I have set back and viewed with amusement the current blog spinning.
It’s like bats flying in and out a bell tower.
The levee’s problem to me has one simple answer. If you cut it —- you fix it!! (period)
I do not think it is the responsibility of anyone but the property owners.. Sue them to fix it…… NOW.
Do not pussy-foot on the issue.
No matter who they are or how big the organization is…They are responsible.
Seems rather simple to me…(although I know the world is not that way!)
Rules, politics, ya-da-ya-da , etc…
The Bentley and downtown..
We have to do something to keep the downtown area alive. The current project is better than nothing at all (and it seems a few people prefer nothing at all) I support the entire project….The way I look at it..we have to make an effort!!
I have found out one glaring thing..the powers that be are not as sincere about tourism as they pretend to be..
But that unmentioned problem had an anwser…A bunch of people from all over the U.S. and perhaps Canada and Mexico will take..another trip to Cane river country, rather than a tour of Alexandria.. (Sigh!)
I am pointing no fingers. just mumbling to my self in print…(If you have read previous post’s, you know how I feel about our wonderful history filled area.)

(And shame for the missed chance at promoting the area..)
