Do you sometime’s yearn for the simpler days?

Anybody have a clue to who this gentleman is?  He once lived and ran his business on the streets of Alexandria, La.

Oh, for a much simpler time!

Who will run for Alexandria, La. Mayor?

I will make you a good honest mayor....Gulp!

Well it’s almost time for the rodents to come out of the woodpile.

 How many and who will run for Mayor of Alexandria?

Will the current Mayor run again or set his sights on bigger game?

 Will someone who actually has Alexandria’s well-being in their thoughts run or will it be for their well-being? 

Most of the time, it is for the latter.

Very soon now we will see the mostly unqualified and a few that   (maybe) are… come slinking into the light of day.

We can only hope for the best and expect the worse..

I do know the race issue will be played with brick like force and that in its self,  is source for shame.

We can only wait for the games to begin.

I can just hear the ring announcer in the most phony of all   sports, step in to say…”Let’s get ready to rumble!!!”
