As far as Public Service Commission. Three Pro’s battling each other. All are professional politician’s. All three will have their hands and everything else in the feed bin the moment one of them are elected. That job enables them all to be on the take for favorable votes when the companies that will have issues come up for vote, rate hikes, etc. So in my opinion a vote for any of the three will just feather their nest even more. Check out their political contributors and supporters. Hate to say it but it’s a no win issue. Some of the other Bloggers are touting their favorite, but I do not see it that way. Any one you cast your vote for will be the same…
I am for the tax issues, most importantly the issue of the tax for upkeep of the Coliseum. I think with good management and repair it will end up placing us in a much better position than spending more millions of dollars for an even bigger fiasco further out of town, that will probably end up like the famous Cowboy town. I firmly believe the downfall of the building has been nonexistent management for the past years.
Almost 100% of voters do not like to pass a new tax upon themselves. I believe this maintenance tax is worth while, if we hold the police jury’s nose to the grindstone and make sure they hire good management, not just another good ole boy..
As to the other issues on their respective ballots, I abstain from any comments..
Your opinion is important, but your vote is more so!
Since two bits won’t do the job anymore,
that’s my 99 cents worth.

I admit I am a nut when it comes to photographing two things. Flowers and wildlife. Not dead, but live wildlife.

Howdy, all you nay say-ers out there. It worked in 1932. These were taken at the Murray Street bridge area.

I am sure that most of the political observers have come to this conclusion..I have thought about it many times and really do not see another way to look at it because of what is transpiring in our government today.
AIG Board Member. (The character speaks for it’s self.)
One or two of the council members understand what a independent audit is…The rest want to hire an auditor to audit the auditor and then perhaps another to do it again…
