Goins can run against Smith.
I am glad to see that there will be a little bit of competition for a city council seat. But still I would have liked for more concerned citizens to have stepped up to the plate rather that the same old same old…But with the predictable low, low, low, low , turn out, why bother to even have an election.

Well, given the current council composition and its incessant battles with the administration, it would have been nice to see all the seats contested, with new ideas/new people coming forward to move the city ahead. Perhaps Goins will be this type of guy. Perhaps not. We’ll see.
