Thats a question I have been turning over in my mind for quite some time now…
Maybe I am missing something. What is the minimum wage now between $5 & $6 dollars an hour? If you are lucky you get 40 hours. That’s between $200 & $240 a week. The Government takes out their share. which leaves you with what? Lets say $175 to $200. It takes $60.00 to fill your gas tank. That may last a week. You have food to buy …lets say $50 a week. That totals $110. Then there is rent. Insurance on your car. I won’t go any further. Already you are in the red.. That in it’s self should convince anyone to get a good education. But what is the average high school dropout’s grade level around here? 10th grade? And we wonder why the crime rate is so high? I really don’t mean to paint a bleak picture, but its the elephant stepping on the ant, so to speak.. Which brings us around to my original question, how do they do it?
Boy, am I glad I got a College education…
